  • Here is our annual report.

  • The British Computing Society reports that in 2022, 23% of technology jobs in Scotland were held by women. There are a number of research reports covering the diversity and inclusion challenges we face. Reports specific to Scotland that we have found useful are:

Tackling the Technology Gender Gap Together by Skills Development Scotland, 2016 covers the barriers and challenges facing girls and women in moving through the technology skills pipeline and into the workforce.

Neurodiversity in Digital Technology by Skills Development Scotland, 2019 covers the benefits of creating a neurodiverse technology workforce and the barriers we need to overcome.

Women in STEM: An intersectional analysis of multiple discriminations by Equate Scotland, 2020 looks at the experiences of women in STEM and the action needed to create gender equality.

Although some of these reports are a few years old, the insights and action needed remain true.

  • We would recommend that you get in touch with Equate Scotland. They work with employers and organisations, students, women, and policy-makers to make employment fairer for women. They provide training to empower women to progress in their careers, have a specialist job board, and support employers to ensure they are implementing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion best practices..
